形態特徵

• Rhizome short, densely tufted. Culms lateral, slender, 5-30 cm long, triquetrous, clothed at base with 2 to 4 bladeless or short-bladed sheaths.
• Leaves of sterile tufts many, much surpassing culms, 15-40 cm long, 2.5-6 (-8) mm wide; sheaths rather short.
• Spikes 2 to 4, all or occasionally except lowest one subfastigiate; terminal spike staminate, 0.6-1 cm long, linear, pale brown, few-several flowered; lateral spikes pistillate or rarely with a few staminate flowers at apex, suberect, 0.7-1.2 cm long, ca. 5 mm wide, oblong, subloosely 3- to 7-flowered, sessile or subsessile. Bracts with short blades, 3-6 cm long, sheathing base 0.2-0.7 cm long.
• Pistillate glumes lanceolate to oblong, 3-4 mm long, pale, cuspidate at apex. Utricles erect-patent, longer than glume, rhomboid, triquetrous, 6-7 mm long, light green, slightly shiny, faintly several veined besides two costas, sparsely hirsute or nearly glabrous; beak slender, ca. 2 mm long, some what recurved, bidentate. Achenes tightly enveloped, ovate, ca. 3 mm long, triquetrous with shallowly concave sides; style slightly enlarged at base; stigmas 3.

分布

• 台灣 : forest floor and grassy place, 300-1,500 m.
• 世界 : Indochina.
